Many
small businesses are started with a vision in mind --- the freedom
of working for yourself; the joy of creating a product or service
that meets a market need; being in control of your level of
income, etc. That vision can quickly disappear in the midst
of long hours, slow cash flow, production slowdowns, employee
issues, and taxes.
I work with small business owners to help them rediscover their
vision for the business and their life in that business. We
dig deeply and clarify how they want this business to express
who they are. We set goals and plan actions that will lead to
both a successful business and a life-fulfilling business. |

Corporate
Performance Management and Succession Plan Coaching |

Human
Resource departments in many organizations just don't have the
time to work with individual employees or with teams who aren't
performing at optimal levels. Managers don't always have the
skills or inclination to counsel and coach employees to meet
performance expectations when they are missing the mark. I can
fill this corporate gap by working with these individuals or
teams to improve performance to clearly defined and agreed upon
levels. I work closely with the HR department, supervising manager,
and employee to clearly define the expectations and commitment
to the coaching process.
Another area of corporate work that I specialize in is assisting
high-potential employees who have been targeted for growth as
part of a succession planning process to set goals and reach
objectives that will continually move them forward. Once the
key learning experiences and competencies are defined, I will
work with the individual in staying focused on their growth
goals and timetable for advancement. I work closely with internal
mentors and corporate leaders to include their input into the
individual's coaching conversations and plans. |
